I like to take a new perspective of everyday images. In my photography you won't see the standard mountain and lake image; it's all about the new angle and new view. As a photographer, a new perspective on traditional beauty is what is valuable to me.
I challenge myself to think about the details and do things no one else has in fine art work, like the everyday hotels on Colfax Avenue. They have such character and beauty of an era gone by. I always try to stretch the boundaries of traditional photography with the ordinary things you see everyday – high heels, garden flowers, high rises. You can know that in each collection the images have touched my emotions or impacted my life in some way. I'm hoping you'll like my take on the world around you.
